Titan Poker AWARDS VERIFICATION

What has been the highlight of 2007 for the company and why?
Last month, Titan Poker had just finished announcing having reached the $8 million in monthly guaranteed prizes mark—when we discovered that we’d actually reached the $10 million mark! We realised that we’ve been expanding our prizes so fast that even we couldn’t even keep up.

It was a significant moment but not unexpected due to the vast number of guaranteed prize tournaments that we’ve offered our players over 2007. In addition to regular weekly tournaments with tens of thousands of dollars in guaranteed prizes, we’ve also staged huge promotions such as The Tournament Titan, a million dollar freeroll open to just twenty qualified players, and the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP)—an online tournament series that gave away $2.5 million in just 10 days.

Now that we've officially announced $10 million, we're already at the $11 million mark—however, we're going to wait until the next milestone before updating the graphics on our website!

What has been the worst moment of 2007 for the company and why?
Our growth during 2007 far exceeded our expectations and we kept pace by offering new and exciting promotions and by increasing the cash prize pools available at our tournaments. However, at times we were hard-pressed to add servers and support services to handle our growing player community. We have started 2008 with improved and expanded capacities to ensure that our players will enjoy the best online poker experience.

What has been the biggest win of the year by a punter on your site?
In December, British player Luke Cahill won $220,000 in our ECOOP $1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize tournament and Canadian player Sorel Mizzi won $200,000 when he finished first in The Tournament Titan.

These were the biggest wins by individual players at Titan Poker in 2007. However, we also have a number of players who continually and consistently win huge prizes at Titan Poker’s online tournaments.

Dutch player Jelte Kruijer won a $14,000 seat to the 2007 WSOP Main Event, an $8,000 seat to the World Poker Showdown in Costa Rica and $40,763 in cash prizes in just five months at Titan Poker’s online tournaments. Similarly, Cory Tymich, from Canada, represented us at the Pokerface tournament in Las Vegas in May and has recently won seats worth a combined total of $17,000 to the South African Poker Open and the WPS Ocean World Tournament in the Dominican Republic.

What efforts does Titan Poker make to provide great customer service to its players?
We pride ourselves on offering excellent customer service to our players and continually strive to improve this service.

Our support team offers assistance and help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Players can contact our team by telephone, email, fax and ‘Chat’ in the poker software itself.

We endeavour to ensure that all of our customer support representatives are skilled, helpful and knowledgeable. To achieve this goal, we regularly hold training sessions and workshops and ensure that our representatives are constantly updated on relevant promotions, tournaments and working procedures.

We also offer an elite, personalised service for our VIP players—Titan Poker’s most loyal and skilled members. We offer these players the opportunity to build a personal relationship with a dedicated VIP manager, who will give them special consideration in all matters, top priority to their requests and special bonuses and rewards.

Players who win seats at land-based tournaments such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the Aussie Millions are also accompanied by a VIP manager, who co-ordinates the event and organises tours, dinners and entertainment to ensure that their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

We are continuing to develop this service and are constantly expanding our team to ensure that all players receive the best possible support.

What do you have planned for 2008? What sort of year is it going to be?
We will continue to expand upon our proven successes, offering players the most exciting online poker tournaments available. We will stage our second European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) in May with a total $3.5 million Guaranteed Prizepool over ten days of tournaments. We will keep sending our players to exotic and exciting destinations, such as the South African Poker Open, the Irish Open, the WSOP and various European Poker Tour (EPT) events across the world. It will also be a year for firsts—in March we are staging our biggest ever Guaranteed Prize Tournament, where we will be giving away two million dollars in prize money. This is just one of the many exciting and record-breaking events that we intend to hold over the coming year.
