With a potentially title deciding clash between Chelsea and Manchester United happening this weekend every amateur pundit across the country is busy scanning the bookmaker’s odds to find some juicy value. With neither side doing much to frighten the other mid-week it will likely come down to whose timing is better at the weekend.
Chelsea’s home record and the fact they haven’t lost to United in their last eight encounters means the odds are firmly stacked in favour of the Blues with many bookmakers including bet365, Betfred and Stan James all making them an even money favourite for the victory. If you’re looking to hedge your bets then 9/4 is pretty much universal across many of the online bookies.
If taking a punt on the favourites isn’t your thing then SkyBet, 888sport and BlueSQ are offering 3/1 on the current Manchester United to steal a victory and truly cement their championship bid.
While the smart punters choose to place some sure fire bets it’s much more fun to experience the true thrill of gambling and lump some cash on the more obscure bets available. Think Manchester United will win the first corner? Then Paddy Power will give you even money for any amount you stake. Think Drogba will have a blinder and scoop the man of the match award? Ladbrokes are currently putting him at 6/1.
Whatever you fancy wagering some cash on the game looks set to be a cracker so make sure you keep checking the latest odds and you get your money in good.

MLS Soccer Play-Offs: Real Salt Lake City defeat Columbus Crew
The Major League Soccer play-offs threw up another shock result as Real Salt Lake City stunned champions Columbus Crew with a 3-2 road victory earlier this week.
Leading up to the second game of the two-legged play-off, RSL had scored just nine goals on the road all season, while their hosts had notched only a single strike in the last five games. However, all that went out the window at the Crew Stadium as both trends were bucked in an open and entertaining clash.
Needing to overturn a one-goal deficit from the first leg, the Crew started the brighter of the two teams and duly went ahead on the 19th minute, albeit in slightly unusual circumstances. With Columbus winning a free-kick 35-yards out, dead-ball specialist Guillermo Barros Schelotto sent the ball sailing into the penalty area, where it missed everyone and bounced past a flat-footed Nick Rimando into the net.
