WBX launches mobile betting site
The World Bet Exchange has today announced the launch of WBX Mobile. WBX Mobile is specially adapted for all mobile devices with Internet browsers such as the iPhone and BlackBerry and will offer the same experience as the main WBX website but on the move.
To mark the launch a free prize draw is open to all members who place a bet via WBX Mobile before 22:00 on 1st March 2009 to win a BackBerry Storm or an Apple iPhone. Since the exchange was launched in November 2006 one billion has been wagered with 500 million bet in the last year alone.
The World Bet Exchange is known for having one of the most competitive commission rate structures available which has won it the Netprophet Award for Best Exchange and the Silver Award at the Gambling Online Magazine Reader’s Poll ceremony. Unlike Betfair WBX does not have a finacial interest in the outcome of its members’ bets and does not penalize its members regardless of how skilled or fortunate they are.
Prices on WBX are set by members and are normally better than those available from traditional bookmakers, sometimes by more than 20%.
