Online gambling site wins chance at ECPT
Titan Poker has a very large following online, and its position as the largest online gambling poker room on the iPoker Network, makes it an ideal venue for members to enjoy. One is doing so more now than any other. Jelte Kruijer, a player from the Netherlands, won a place at the upcoming ECPT Madrid Open 2008.
Kruijer has had a series of successes recently as he has also won a spot on the World Series of Poker, the World Poker Showdown (WPS) and winning a whole lot of cash within the past eleven months.
“I am very happy and thankful to Titan Poker for having such great promotions. It seems that I'm on my way to the top,” said 39 year old Kruijer. He has been playing semi-professionally for over a year. He will join at least thirty-seven other players representing Titan Poker in Madrid.
Kruijer's winning streak began in May 2007, when he won a $14,000 seat to the 2007 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas through a Titan Poker Super Satellite Tournament. Since then, he has also won a prize package to the WPS in Costa Rica and finished first place in Titan Poker's $100,000 Guaranteed and $50,000 Guaranteed Tournaments.
The ECPT Madrid Open is part of Titan Poker’s commitment to sponsoring more ‘land-based’ tournaments. In addition to the ECPT Madrid Open, Titan Poker is presently offering many more tournaments to its players. Members are currently competing for a seat to the Asian Poker Tour Manila which will be occurring this May in the Philippines. Seats to this event are highly desirable on account of the mammoth $1 million in guaranteed prizes.
