Online poker venue offers WSOP seat
Online poker venue, Poker Room School, a site that provides good quality poker in an online community that helps develop new and improving poker players, is sending one member to the WSOP 2008 Main Event.
The player will receive airfare to Las Vegas, accommodation, $10,000 buy-in to the main event and spending money.
To be in with a chance to win, members of the site need to partake in the Poker Room School Super Satellite on 1st June. There is a small prize pool of $2,000 to be shared amongst the runners up.
To enter the satellite, players need to attain a place on the site’s leaderboard. To do so, each week the top 200 players with the highest PRS points (earned for each hand played online) will get onto the leaderboard, which is closed on Mondays.
With several weeks left to go until the satellite, there are still chances for players to make the cut.
Poker Room School exists to assist the online poker community to gain the necessary skill and knowledge to compete. This falls in line with the massive increase in the game’s popularity in both number of players and vendors available. Poker Room School believes that poker is a game of skill and aims to help players learn to play their hands against other players.
The site offers new members with $50 + $100 to start playing the variety of poker games available on the site. Poker Room School should be a perfect resource to help players get to grips with the Texas Hold’em game.
