PokerPro Room announced for Fantasy Springs Resort Casino

26/12/2007
PokerTek, Inc., a leader in international automated poker tables and related software, has announced the setting up of five PokerPro tables at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Palm Springs, CA. This 100% PokerPro table is the ninth of its kind set up in various locations.

“PokerPro is a great addition to our casino,” said Lou Crescenzo, VP of Operations for Fantasy Springs. “Removing our manual tables to put in PokerPro was an easy decision for us considering the system's capabilities and benefits to us and our players. The response so far has been great, and we're just getting started.”

“Fantasy Springs is an ideal venue for PokerPro, and they've been a good partner in all respects,” said Chris Halligan, PokerTek CEO. “We seek properties that understand the player benefits and fundamental economics of automated poker, and Fantasy Springs fits that description.”

Fantasy Springs is owned and managed by the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians, and is the fourth California location to install PokerPro tables, and the first 100% PokerPro property in Southern California. As well as poker, this resort casino provides the usual features such as 2000 slot machines and 40 table games, 250 luxury hotel rooms, fabulous dining, world-class entertainment, and an 18 hole, par 72 golf course.

PokerTek, Inc. is headquartered in Matthews, NC, and well known for developing and marketing their range of PokerPro and PokerPro Heads-Up™, automated poker tables and related software applications developed to increase casino revenue, reduce expenses, and attract new players into poker rooms.
