Super 6 pays out to first winner of the season
A woman from West Sussex has become the first person to win the Soccer Saturday Super 6 £250,000 jackpot this season.
Denise Taylor correctly managed to predict the scores of all six Premier League matches that kicked off at 3pm on Saturday.
Those matches included Chelsea’s 2-0 win at home to West Bromwich Albion, Manchester City’s 2-1 triumph at home to Swansea City and other home successes for Everton and Newcastle United against West Ham United (2-1) and Queen’s Park Rangers (1-0) respectively.
Burnley’s first away win of the season at Stoke City (1-2) and a goalless draw between Leicester City and Sunderland sealed the player’s life-changing victory, with Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko being her saviour with his winning goal at St James’ Park being the last to make up the winning bet.
The game has made four people a quarter of a million pounds richer in the last 14 months, which has followed a barren spell of two years where there were no jackpot winners.
Super 6 is free to play for customers of online sports book Sky Bet, and at least £5,000 is paid out to one winner every week, as the player with the most game points for that week, made up by predicting the correct scores and results, is handed the smaller prize.
