Phil Ivey to close down coaching website
28/10/2014

The 38-year-old’s site iveyleague.com has been in operation for just over a year, which offers videos and coaching tutorials from some of the game’s most high-profile players, such as Patrik Antonius and Mike Leah.
The decision to close the sites is another blow for the 10-time WSOP bracelet winner, as he recently lost a court hearing over £7.7m winnings against a London casino.
Crockfords, a casino based in Mayfair, refused to pay the American after accusing him of cheating to win money at Punto Banco, a form of Baccarat, after asking the dealer to turn the cards by 180 degrees and get a read off asymmetrical patterns on the cards.
Ivey’s other internet business involves being the face of the internet gaming venture of Pala Indian Tribe, a southern California Indian tribe.
