Coral to host World Cup preview evening online with "all-star" panel of experts
Bookmaker Coral will be live streaming a World Cup preview evening online on Sunday June 8 from 8pm until 9:30pm.
For the first time punters will be able to log onto Coral's site to watch a panel of "all-star" experts discuss the month-long tournament and gain tips and hints ahead of making their bets. Viewers will also learn of exclusive price offers throughout the show.
The panel will be chaired by Sky Sports presenter and former Chelsea star Scott Minto, joined by former Liverpool and Germany midfielder Dietmar Hamann, Racing Post digital football editor Mark Langdon and Coral's PR director Simon Clare at Coral's headquarters in London.
Clare said: "The World Cup is the biggest betting event on the planet and with football turnover continuing to grow year on year we're expecting the tournament to smash all previous records.
"The Sunday evening before it starts feels like the perfect time to hold the event and I'm confident that our all-star expert panel will be able to point viewers in the direction of some great value bets."
Clare added that live streaming better allows the bookmaker to deliver a high-quality show "packed with informed opinion, banter, and some great exclusive trading offers to the widest possible audience."
In March Coral broadcast a live-streamed Cheltenham Festival preview that proved to be a big hit, attracting 16,000 viewers.
Clare said he is confident the upcoming World Cup preview will be equally successful.
