£1m lottery prize still unclaimed in Scotland
A Christmas Day lottery prize of £1m is still unclaimed, and the potential winner only has until 23 June before the prize expires.
The winning ticket is said to have been purchased in South Lanarkshire, Scotland and while it wasn’t the full jackpot, the ticket featured a unique code for the Millionaire Raffle below the regular lottery numbers.
A EuroMillions spokeswoman said: “Someone has a £1m belated Christmas present waiting just for them.
“We need them to find this ticket – the prize is waiting to be claimed, but it won’t be for much longer. Just think what £1m could do for the lucky ticket-holder.”
If the prize is not claimed within the 180-day period, which expires later this month, the money will go to the National Lottery Good Causes fund with the added interest that has accumulated.
