138.com agree Watford deal
Online operators 138.com are the new shirt sponsors of Watford football club.
A deal has been agreed that will see the gaming firm, who are part of the Xela Holdings Group, because the Championship team’s principal partners for the 2013/14 season.
The 138.com logo will appear on the front of first-team and adult replica shirts for the forthcoming campaign, replacing the Football Manager brand, which has moved to the back of the shirts above the player names.
Xela Holdings CEO Garth Kimber, a life-long Watford fan, said: “138.com is a new global brand for us.
“We look forward to help grow the Watford brand globally, alongside our own.”
Watford CEO Scott Duxbury added: “To have a global brand again associated with Watford FC is a tribute to the progress the club has made this year.”
