Four-job mother wins Illinois Lottery jackpot
A single mother from Illinois will receive $1,000 a week for the next 20 years after winning a lottery jackpot.
Andi Harden of Albany, who currently holds down four jobs, scooped $1.04m on the Illinois Lottery on Wednesday.
The gym and gas station worker, jewellery seller and foot masseuse now plans to buy her home, pay for her daughter to go to college and also improve her own education.
“Everybody has said the same thing; no one deserves it more than me,” she said.
“To hear so many people say that, it makes me feel really good about myself – it makes me feel like I'm somebody.”
“I'm going to go to school. I want to better myself. I want to take this opportunity to get where I need to be.”
