Powerball jackpot hits $475m
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot has risen to $475m after no ticket matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s draw.
Despite a series of players scooping Match 5 prizes of either $1m or $2m, no-one managed to predict all six balls to claim the $360m top prize, meaning the jackpot now becomes the second largest in Powerball history.
The winning numbers on Wednesday were 2–11– 26– 34–41 with a Powerball of 32.
Nearly 2.7 million players won a prize in the midweek draw, with non-jackpot prize money reaching just short of $47m.
The largest Powerball jackpot ever was the $587.5m shared by two tickets in November 2012.
