Champions League preview: Barcelona v Bayern Munich
Barcelona host Bayern Munich in the semi final of the Champions League tonight needing to score at least four times to reach the final.
The reigning European champions lost 4-0 to the German giants in last week’s first leg at the Allianz Arena, meaning that they require a minimum of a quartet of strikes to keep their tournament dreams alive.
A 4-0 Barcelona win would take the tie to extra time, while a five-goal winning margin would send them through to the final.
However a four-goal winning margin that included Bayern scoring, for example 5-1 to Barca, would see the German side reach the final on the away goals rule.
Online bookmakers Bwin make Barcelona 1.8 favourites to win the match on the night, with Bayern offered at 3.4. The draw is priced at 4.5.
Bookmakers Titan Bet make Bayern 1.4 favourites to progress over the two legs, while Barca can be backed at odds of 9 to make the final.
The winner of the tie will play Borussia Dortmund in the showpiece final after the German club overcame Real Madrid in the other semi.
