Premier League betting preview: Man City v Wigan
It’s second from top versus third from bottom in the Premier League tonight as Manchester City take on Wigan at the Etihad Stadium.
With their title hopes all but gone, City’s main focus must now be securing second spot, with Roberto Mancini’s men currently leading third-place Arsenal by five points with two games in hand.
Defender Micah Richards could feature after six months out with a knee injury, while full-back Maicon should be available following illness.
Jack Rodwell is in contention after a hamstring problem, although fellow midfielder David Silva is unlikely to be risked following a similar injury.
Wigan, who also have two games in hand on the sides around them, are three points from safety, although they do have a superior goal difference to Aston Villa in 17th.
The Latics have a fully fit squad to choose from.

Bookmakers Bwin are offering odds of 7.25 on a 3-0 City win, while a 1-0 Wigan victory can be backed at 31.
City striker Sergio Aguero is favourite to score the first goal at a price of 4, ahead of teammate Carlos Tevez at 4.25.
