Search for Euromillions jackpot winner continues
A town crier is taking to the streets of Hertfordshire today in an attempt to find a £64m Euromillions winner.
The holder of the lucky ticket, which was purchased in the Stevenage and Hitchin area, has still yet to claim their £63,837,543.60 prize.
Having previously campaigned in those specific areas, the National Lottery have now widened their search, deploying the crier in nearby Welwyn Garden City.
The crier will arrive in a Lamborghini Spider and call out from the entrance of the town’s Howard Centre at 2.15pm in order to publicise the unclaimed prize.
The money was won in the Euromillions draw on Friday 8 June, with numbers of 5, 11, 22, 34 and 40, with Lucky Stars of 9 and 11.
The winning player has until 11pm on 5 December 2012 to claim their prize, after which time the cash, along with any interest earned, will go to the National Lottery Good Causes fund.
