Capital One Cup betting preview: Leeds and Stoke face lower-league tests
Leeds host Oxford and Stoke face Swindon in two of tonight’s more intriguing Capital One Cup second round fixtures.
Leeds could name defender Adam Drury and strikers Andy Gray and Dominic Poleon in their starting line-up as they look to utilise the full depth of their squad following a solid opening to their league campaign.
Oxford, who have made an excellent start to their League Two season, will be without the injured Lee Cox, Michael Duberry, Peter Leven and Andy Whing, while striker Deane Smalley and midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey are doubts.
The fixed-odds service of online betting exchange Betfair has Leeds at 40/85 favourites for the match, with Oxford offered at 5/1. The draw is priced at 3/1.
Premier League Stoke are expected to make changes for the visit of Swindon, with midfielders Wilson Palacio and Dean Whitehead set to feature for the Potters as they seek their first win of the season.
Swindon, who have yet to concede a goal in any competition this term, could be without midfielder Gary Roberts who is a doubt with a calf injury.
Betfair make Stoke 16/25 favourites for the match, with Swindon priced at 15/4. The draw is available at 13/5.
