Paddy Power and Oddschecker offer special Murray odds
Bookmakers Paddy Power have teamed up with odds comparison website Oddschecker to offer a special price on Andy Murray winning the US Open.
From 3pm on 24 August until 3pm on 27 August, Paddy Power customers signing up for a new account through the Oddschecker website will be offered an exclusive price of 6/1 on the Brit breaking his Grand Slam duck at Flushing Meadows.
The bookmaker’s original price on a Murray victory was 7/2.
The Scot, a beaten finalist at the 2008 US Open, is third favourite for this year’s tournament behind Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
Murray won Olympic gold at the London 2012 games this summer but is still yet to secure a Grand Slam title.
He plays Russia's Alex Bogomolov Jr in the first round of the tournament, with a semi-final meeting with Federer on the cards if both men make it through to that stage.
