EuroMillions jackpot hits £148m
The jackpot for Friday’s EuroMillions draw is the second biggest in history.
After a succession of rollovers the main prize has now been capped at 190m Euro, equivalent to £148m.
A single winner would receive a jackpot second only in size to that collected by Colin and Chris Weir in July 2011, who scooped £161m due to a superior exchange rate following another capped draw.
If no single ticket matches all five numbers and two lucky stars then the prize will be shared among those matching five numbers and one star.
A EuroMillions spokesperson said: "This is it - the jackpot has to be won and it promises to be an amazing night. We urge all players to get their tickets early.
"Only a couple of weeks ago, we created 100 millionaires in one night and this draw could be another golden night with the potential for several multi-millionaires to be made here in the UK on Friday.”
