Dynamo wins 10,000/1 accumulator
Magician Dynamo has claimed £10,000 on a 7-fold Euro 2012 accumulator bet.
The 29-year-old correctly predicted the winning team in all of the competition’s knockout games, even stating which of the matches would go to penalties and that Spain would beat Italy by at least two goals in the final.
The Yorkshireman had placed a £1 bet at odds of 10,000/1 with bookmakers Paddy Power ahead of the quarter-final matches, leaving the betting slip with ITV staff after appearing on television show This Morning.
He returned to the programme after Sunday’s final to reveal his success, adding that he would donate his winnings to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
An amazed This Morning host Phillip Schofield said on air: “It’s extraordinary; you can’t fake something like that. It’s just incredible.”
Dynamo, real name Steven Frayne, has previously appeared on charity broadcasts Sport Relief and Children in Need to help raise money for the respective causes.
