Whitney daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, facing illegal gambling investigation
Authorities in the US state of Nevada are investigating reports that the daughter of the late soul singer Whitney Houston has been gambling underage in Las Vegas.
A video posted on celebrity website TMZ.com appears to show 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Houston and fellow singer Bobby Brown, playing a slot machine at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino at the weekend, despite it being illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to gamble in Nevada.
The state is set to look into the matter, with deputy chief of enforcement at the Gaming Control Board David Salas confirming: "We've received the reports, have been notified of the video from multiple sources and have an investigation open."
Minors found guilty of underage gambling in Nevada could face a jail sentence of up to six months or a fine of up to $1,000, while the venue itself could also be fined.
