Tiger Woods leads Masters betting
Four-time champion Tiger Woods is favourite to win this year’s US Masters.
The resurgent 36-year-old is offered at a best price of 11/2 to claim the Augusta title, according to odds comparison website Oddschecker, with the world number seven having recently won his first PGA Tour event for 30 months at Bay Hill.
World number two Rory McIlroy comes next in the betting at a top price of 13/2, with the 22-year-old Northern Irishman returning to the scene of his disastrous final-round 80 that cost him victory in this tournament last year.
Three-time Masters winner Phil Mickelson is available at odds of 12/1 to secure another Green Jacket, ahead of world number 1 Luke Donald at 15/1.
Englishman Lee Westwood completes the top five in the betting, with a best price of 20/1 on offer for the 38-year-old to claim his maiden major title.
The Masters begins later today with the first players teeing off at 12:50pm BST.
