Wales favourites for Six Nations following Scotland success
Wales are narrow favourites to win the 2012 Six Nations after making it two wins from two with a comprehensive victory over Scotland on Sunday.
Warren Gatland’s men are offered at a best price of 11/8, according to odds comparison website Oddschecker, following their 27-13 win against the ill-disciplined Scots at the Millennium Stadium.
The visitors cause was hampered by two yellow cards in the second half, allowing Wales to run away with the match following a tight first 40 minutes.
France come next in the betting at a best price of 13/8 having had their match with Ireland postponed on Saturday.
England are available at a top price of 5/1 following their unconvincing defeat of Italy, ahead of 16/1 shots Ireland.
Scotland aren’t being given much chance at a price of 1000/1 following losses to England and Wales, while Italy are the 5000/1 outsiders after suffering consecutive defeats of their own.
The next round of fixtures is scheduled for two weekends’ time, with Ireland set to host Italy, England to face Wales and Scotland to play France.
