Spurs and Chelsea lead FA Cup betting

30/1/2012
Tottenham and Chelsea are joint-favourites to win this year’s FA Cup after the draw for the fifth round of the competition pitted them against lower league opposition.

Bookmakers Bet365 price both London sides at 10/3 to lift the trophy following their respective 1-0 victories over Watford and QPR in the fourth round.

Spurs will travel to League One Stevenage in the next round, while Chelsea are to host Championship side Birmingham City.

Next in the Cup betting come Liverpool at 7/2, the Reds having knocked out major contenders Manchester United over the weekend.

Another London club, Arsenal, are offered at 5/1 following their comeback victory over Aston Villa, while fellow Premier League teams Everton and Stoke are priced at 12/1 and 16/1 respectively.

Stevenage are the major outsiders for the competition, with the Hertfordshire side offered at 400/1 to secure an unlikely Cup success, while their third tier counterparts Sheffield Wednesday, FA Cup runners-up in 1993, are available at 200/1. League Two high-flyers Crawley Town are priced at 250/1 following their shock fourth round victory over Hull City, while Championship side Millwall are offered at the same odds.

Full FA Cup fifth round draw:

Liverpool v Brighton
Everton v Blackpool or Sheffield Wednesday
Chelsea v Birmingham
Crawley Town v Stoke
Stevenage v Tottenham
Norwich v Leicester
Sunderland or Middlesbrough v Arsenal
Millwall or Southampton v Bolton

The ties will be played on the weekend of 18-19 February.
