England Euro 2012 odds cut following favourable draw
The odds on England winning Euro 2012 have shortened following the draw for the group stages of next summer’s tournament.
The Three Lions were offered at a best price of 14/1 prior to being drawn in Group D alongside Ukraine, Sweden and France but are now available at best odds of 10/1, with most bookmakers offering 8/1, according to odds comparison website Oddschecker.
The site also highlight a lengthening in the Republic of Ireland’s price following a tough group stage draw which pitted Giovanni Trapattoni’s men against Spain, Italy and Croatia. They are now out to a best price of 100/1 having previously been offered at 66/1.
Other notable movers include Denmark, out from 50/1 to 125/1, and Holland, who have lengthened from 6/1 to 8/1, after both were drawn in probably the hardest group of the four alongside Germany and Portugal.
Spain are favourites to win the tournament at a best price of 5/2, followed by Germany at 7/2.
