Euro 2012 betting preview: Estonia v Republic of Ireland
The Republic of Ireland travel to Estonia tonight for the first leg of their Euro 2012 play-off.
Manager Giovanni Trapattoni has confirmed 10 of his starting 11 for the vital match, with one striking position left to fill. Either Stoke forward Jonathan Walters or West Brom frontman Simon Cox will be selected to play alongside captain Robbie Keane following the suspension of Kevin Doyle. Shane Long is missing with injury, while Leon Best is unavailable as his wife is expected to give birth imminently.
Shay Given will start in goal for the Irish, behind a back four of Richard Dunne, Sean St Ledger, Stephen Ward and Stephen Kelly. The midfield will consist of Keith Andrews, Glenn Whelan, Damien Duff and Aiden McGeady.
Bet365 make the Irish 5/4 favourites for the match, with Estonia priced at 13/5. The draw is offered at 2/1. Keane is 5/1 favourite to open the scoring, with Cox priced at 13/2 and Walters offered at 7/1.
The second leg takes place on Tuesday night and the Republic are 1/3 to qualify over the two ties, with Estonia available at 9/4 to make it to the championships instead.
