Kahnawake Gaming Commission Approve Full Tilt License
Much to the surprise of most people in the poker world, the Kanawake Gaming Commission have granted disgraced poker site Full Tilt a renewal of its Secondary Client Provider Authorisation.
The news comes as a major surprise given that the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, one of the other major license providers, opted to suspend Full Tilt’s original license at the end of June.
The question, therefore, is why would a regulatory body as prominent as the KGC choose to grant Full Tilt a license when the AGCC have already moved to take away their primary eGambling certificate.
At the time of writing, it remains to be seen how the KGC’s decision will affect Full Tilt operations, with the AGCC previously ruling that the company should cease accepting new customers and deposits.
It therefore looks as though even with the benefit of this secondary license it will be very difficult for the company to resume operations, but the acquisition certainly hints that the Full Tilt saga is far from over.
