Rangers face Malmo in Champions League qualifier
Rangers take on Malmo tonight knowing they must score to have any chance of progressing from the Champions League third qualifying round.
Ally McCoist’s men lost the first leg at Ibrox thanks to an 18th minute strike from Malmo forward Daniel Larsson, meaning they will now need to register at least one goal of their own to keep the tie alive.
The Glasgow side are still waiting for a response from their appeal to UEFA as to whether Dorin Goian will be free to play in the match following an earlier decision that the defender is ineligible due to the work permit delays that forced him to sit out the first leg.
Captain David Weir has not travelled due to a hamstring problem while striker Kyle Lafferty is also out injured. Bet365 make Rangers the 13/10 favourites for the match, with Malmo priced at 2/1. The draw is offered at 12/5.
