EuroMillions set for £166 million jackpot rollover
The next EuroMillions jackpot will have to be capped at £166 million after the draw rolled over for the thirteenth time on Tuesday night.
No-one matched the five numbers and two lucky stars required to scoop the top prize of £159 million, meaning Friday’s jackpot is expected to hit the maximum level of €185 million – equivalent to around £166 million – after which point any excess funds are filtered down to boost the lower prizes.
Tuesday night’s numbers were 11, 28, 29, 47, 49, with Lucky Stars 1 and 5. While no-one was lucky enough to trigger a multi-million pound payday, around 5 million Europeans did manage some kind of win, with nine players matching five balls with one Lucky Star to claim £219,221 each. It has also been confirmed that 14 players won £46,976 each, while a range of smaller prizes included rewards of £2.80 for about 2.6 million players.
