Europa League betting preview: Liverpool v Braga / Man City v Dynamo Kiev
Liverpool and Man City both need to overturn first-leg deficits tonight if they are to progress to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
City suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Dynamo Kiev in the Ukraine and have injury concerns in midfield ahead of the second-leg. Winger Adam Johnson is back in training but is set to miss out, while James Milner may have to settle for a place on the bench following his recovery from a hamstring problem. Nigel De Jong is to undergo a fitness test on his ankle ahead of the game.
Bet365 make City 1/2 favourites to win the match, with Kiev offered at 6/1. The draw is available at 3/1. The Premier League side are 2/1 to qualify for the next round by any means.
Liverpool are also at home and face Braga, the Portuguese side having beaten the Reds 1-0 in the first leg last week. Reds midfielder Steven Gerrard is out with a knee injury, while striker Andy Carroll looks likely to start on the bench. Daniel Agger returns to the squad following injury.
Bet365 have installed Liverpool as 4/9 favourites to win the game, with Braga available at 6/1. The draw is priced at 10/3. Liverpool are 8/11 to progress to the next round by any means.
