Bet on Wills and Kate’s Cheltenham Festival appearance
The Royal Wedding and Cheltenham festival are fast approaching, and both are events which send bookies into overdrive. So, combining the two together is a stellar idea for both bookmakers and punters alike.
The Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest and most famous horse racing events of the year, which Prince William and Kate Middleton are nearly always in attendance of. But, the bet this year is whether the royal couple will turn up together. Odds of 4/1 are being offered by Expekt for the couple attending the festival together, and the picture must appear in a national UK newspaper by 25 March for it to count.
The opening day of the festival is 15 March, and runs until 18 March. As the festival is so close to the date of their big day (29 April for those living under a rock), it is not a certainty that the couple will attend the festival at all, as there may be last minute arrangements and duties to fulfil prior to the wedding. 16 March is ‘Ladies Day’, where ladies have the opportunity to dress up for a chance to win best dressed prizes, so it would be great to see Middleton there showing everyone how it’s done.
