PokerStars Team Pro signs up Jonathan Duhamel
The 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event winner has joined the ever growing of pros at PokerStars, who now have six out of ten World Series winners.
When asked about joining the team Duhamel expressed his ambition to play the biggest tournaments in the world and added that he would do his best to get another big score as well.
Things might not be looking so bright as Duhamel busted out of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure on 42nd place which ended his tournament without even getting paid.
Despite this downfall the star seemed confident and not at all disappointment by this turn of events as he tweeted: “Just busted 42nd place out of 476 players, but only 40 were paid...still I`m in Bahamas so I can`t complain.”
Duhamel is now a part of the PokerStars Pro family which already consists of Chris Moneymaker, the 2003 Main Event Winner, Greg Raymer, who won in 2004, Joe Hachem, the 2005 winner, Peter Eastgate, who won in 2008, Joe Cada, the 2009 winner and the newly joined Viktor Blom(Isildur1).
As a new member Duhamel will start work straight away as he will join forces with Negreanu for PokerStars’ Ultimate Home Game promotion.
The promotion will be offering a player that starts his own poker club on PokerStars the amazing chance to travel to one of these locations: Austria, Vancouver, Macau or Buenos Aires.
As well as the trip the player who wins will be have the great opportunity to play against Duhamel, Negreanu and another Team PokersStars Pro of their choice and that’s all along with PokerStars cash.
