Bookies slash price on quadruple Premier League departure
William Hill has halved the odds on four under-pressure Premier League managers all leaving their jobs before taking charge of another league game.
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, Liverpool gaffer Roy Hodgson, West Ham chief Avram Grant and Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier have all had a tough time of it this season and Hills are offering 16/1 that none of the quartet are still in their jobs come their team’s next league matches - cut from 33/1.
A price of 6/1 is available on three of the bosses being gone by that time, with 10/3 offered on two of them having departed and 13/8 quoted for just one to leave their position. Odds of 7/4 can be had for all four to still be in place come their next league fixtures.
“Punters believe that all four are highly vulnerable and that it is a decent value bet that none of them will see another Premier League game in charge of their current club,” said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
