England 2018 bid team have last chance to win over FIFA board members
David Beckham, Prince William and PM David Cameron have already kicked off the last chance to persuade FIFA board members that England deserve their votes to enable England to host World Cup 2018.
The speech that started at 10am GMT has already seen the likes of David Cameron and Prince William take to the stage in support of the bid. Spain and Portugal have already given their joint bid presentation.
Beckham and the team are confident that they have secured at least 8 of the 12 needed votes from talking with the board members since Monday.
Yesterday David Cameron "We've got a fantastic bid team, I think they've done a brilliant job. Huge credit to Prince William, who's really put so much effort in, and to David Beckham and to the whole of the team. A great bid, we've just got to convince the people in there that we can do a great job."
Bookies have slashed the odds on England winning the bid to 13/8 thanks to the week long efforts in Zurich.
The announcement will be live today at 3pm.
