Australian qualifies for Titan tournament.
A theatre dealer in Australia, Mark Hoath, has qualified for the online poker site Titan Poker’s Tournament Titan after playing at one of the other Titan Poker’s million dollar tables. The Sit & Go Tournament Titan, with its $1 million prize pool, is the richest of its kind. Mark qualified by finishing at the final table three times in a row at Titan Poker's regularly scheduled participating tournaments. Mark is the seventh player of twenty who will compete in the Tournament Titan, which will only be staged when twenty players have qualified.
Mark made the final table once at Titan Poker's $7,500 GP Freezeout and twice at the popular poker room's $5,000 Guaranteed Tournaments.
‘I found it very difficult to qualify for this tournament,’ said Hoath after his win. ‘On several occasions I had two tournaments and then couldn't get the third one. But I was definitely keen to get into this competition. Not only for the fantastic cash prizes, but also to show the world that Aussies are top Poker players.’
Earlier this year, Mark had made a name for himself by winning a seat at Titan Poker’s exclusive land-based $500,000 freeroll that offered a staggering $100 Million Jackpot for any player lucky enough to hit a Royal Flush of Spades. This table will be televised in 2007 and should prove to be very interesting viewing indeed.
Titan Poker is making a big name for themselves in the industry with a series of innovative and attractive promotions and tournaments. Players are finding themselves drawn into these games, which all carry huge cash prizes, as well as experience and prestige.
