Normandie Casino reveals blackjack section.
The only original Southern California card club, The Normandie Casino, unveiled its new VIP Blackjack Section, which is ideal for those looking for a bit more privacy. Decorated with fine artwork and water features, as well as plasma TV's and a separate sitting area, the room provides a stimulating environment.
After the successful launch of Vegas-style Pure 21 Blackjack, the Normandie decided it was time to provide a room for players comparable to Vegas standards. ‘Customers are very excited about Pure 21 Blackjack’, said casino owner Steve Miller. ‘It's Blackjack without Jokers or Wild Cards which in turn makes it easier for both the novice and seasoned players alike to enjoy.’
So far, the general reaction to this new addition has been good after the successful ribbon cutting by the Miller family, owners of the casino for over sixty years, and it is hoped that the section will draw a larger crowd looking for the more personal gambling experience. On the night of the opening, players filled the room eager to try their hand at Blackjack while enjoying complimentary food and drinks. The party continued well into the following evening, and there has been a steady stream of satisfied players ever since.
Since the opening of this very successful section, the Normandie plans to update the overall look of the casino, restaurant, and showroom by introducing modern elements into their design. The Normandie Casino may be the oldest card club in Southern California but will do what it can to compete with the big-boys in Vegas.
