Asian Poker Classic Brings the Game to India.
The Asian Poker Classic, in combination with online poker site, MaharajahClub.com, is to bring the first major professional poker tournament to India. Held at the InterContinental, The Grand Resort Goa, this tournament carries a $1 million prize pool, guaranteed by MaharajahClub.com and will run from the 1st to 4th March 2007.
The Texas Hold ‘em tournament will attract players from all over the world wanting to share in the $1 million as well as the title of this impressive event. MaharajahClub.com will run satellite tournaments, starting from as little as $4, to win $7,500 packages to join the tournament. One in ten players has a chance to win a seat to the weekly satellite and 1 in 25 will win a $7,500 satellite package.
