Gambling.net Offers In-game Betting.

27/9/2006
Online gambling website, Gambling.net, is to introduce an exciting new way for players to wager on games and sport as they unfold on live television. In-betting will allow players to bet during live games through the site. ‘When we first launched the live betting software, we saw a huge upsurge in business,’ said sportsbook director, Bob Day. ‘In-game betting adds a degree of excitement you can't get from just watching. Suddenly boring games can have you standing on your feet and cheering. And if you make money, it's a great bonus.’

Gambling.net offers live, in-game betting on NFL, NCAA Football, NASCAR, Boxing, Golf, and MLB games. Most televised games offer some combination of odds, including sides, moneylines, totals, and quarters and halftime propositions. Players whose original wagers are losing will be able to find ways to reduce their losses or even come out ahead. Football games are prone to shifts in momentum, the accompanying line movements provide excellent opportunities to win wagers placed with both teams.

‘Being on top of line movements and swings in the game can be tough enough,’ said Day. ‘We wanted to make sure the software was as easy to use as possible.’

During football games, players would be able to bet on First Quarter Line, First Half Line, Second Quarter Line offered at the end of the 1st Quarter, Second Half Line offered during Half Time, Third Quarter Line offered during Half Time, and Fourth Quarter Line offered at the end of the 3rd Quarter.
