Online Poker Player Isildur1 Felted on Full Tilt
The nosebleed stakes cash games over on Full Tilt may well be a quieter place over the festive period after it emerged that action catalyst “Isildur1” has been cleaned out by Brian Townsend and Cole South.
With the mysterious Swede down to his last few hundred thousand after shipping $4.2 million to Brian Hastings earlier this month, “Isildur1” was forced to rebuild his bankroll four-tabling $300/$600 pot limit Omaha.
With his entire account balance on the tables at one point, “Isildur1” started off strongly in his first clash with Townsend to book an $80,000 winning session, but any profit he may have held on to was quickly erased soon after when the pair resumed rivalries later that day, with his opponent getting lucky to win a huge $223,197 pot.
The following day, Townsend inflicted further damage to the Scandinavian’s ever-depleting fortunes by winning another two monster pots to book a $432,000 winning session. That left “Isildur1” with just $70,000 in his account and forced him to drop down a level to try and win back his roll against South playing $100/$200 PLO.
Before long, the damage was done and South emptied out the last of “Isildur1”’s account, with the Swede having to redeposit in order to contest round two. Unfortunately for him, he was unable to gain any traction in the match whatsoever and was eventually felted for a second time when his ten-high straight was decimated by South’s jack-high straight to hand his opponent his remaining $31,000.
