Trishelle Cannatella Star of Reality TV joins online poker giant Absolute Poker
Infamous reality TV star Trishelle Cannatella has become the latest pseudo-celebrity to jump on the poker bandwagon, officially throwing her weight behind the much maligned Absolute Poker. The American was part of the show Real World: Las Vegas and instantly became one of the most memorable faces from the show. Having started her “career” in Vegas it seems only fitting that Trishelle has chosen to endorse a poker site. Commenting on her recent signing she explained: “I'm very excited to be Absolute Poker's new celebrity endorser. Poker has always been a passion of mine and I can't think of a better team to be a part of."
Suspicions that she’s just another cheap ploy to attract impressionable young men to play at Absolute Poker hold little water as she has an impressive poker resume for someone not intellectually involved in the world of poker.
She has appeared on no less than two World Poker Tour celebrity invitational events, as well as the prestigious Celebrity Poker Showdown in 2005. Aside from such publicity tournaments she reportedly notched up a win in the very first tournament she played at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Cannatella joins Lacey Jones and Matt Vengrin on the Absolute roster and will be looking to show off her poker skills to the world in the coming months.
