Tom “Durrrr” Dwan joins online poker giant Full Tilt Poker
It’s been the worst kept secret in poker for the last few months and yesterday it was finally confirmed that Tom “Durrrr” Dwan is now the newest member of the illustrious roster of Full Tilt professionals. The 23 year old will join some of the game’s most respected figures including Howard Lederer, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson and Patrik Antonius. Tom is considered one of the most gifted players of his generation with many ranking him alongside some of the all time greats such as Doyle Brunson and Stu Ungar. This latest signing by Full Tilt will no doubt attract a number of railbirds to the site and there are already a range of Durrrr related events scheduled for the coming months.
Commenting on the recent signing, Howard Lederer said: "Team Full Tilt doesn't take adding a team member lightly. But, Tom Dwan has proven, through skill and dynamic play, that he will be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come. We are proud to count Tom as one of our own." Dwan is currently half way through his high stakes challenge with fellow team Full Tilt player Patrik Antonius with Durrrr currently enjoying a $600,000 profit margin. With 25,000 hands left to play the action is definitely looks as though it is going to heat up in the next few weeks.
