WPT Borgata Poker Open
The World Poker Tour Borgata Open is well into the thick of things after day 1b came to a close yesterday.
The NLHE, $3,500 buy in attracted an immense 692 players to day 1b making the total 1,018 fighting to make it to day two. The tournament has already entered the record books as the 1,018 entrants is the highest WPT event in history.
The $2 million guaranteed prize pool was smashed by the record number of entrants which gives a total of $3,359,400 up for grabs – almost making a millionaire of the final winner.
570 players will return to the tables today.
The chip leaders so far are Ofir Mor (185,000), Nick Ceci (120,000) and Stefan Matsson (116,000).
