Cake Poker experiences technical difficulties
The impressive Cake Poker Network was forced to cancel all poker tournaments over the weekend after a string of connectivity issues played havoc with the player’s connection to the servers.
A statement was required and posted on the Cake Poker Blog with simply stated “Over the last week, the Cake Network experienced a series of connectivity issues that has culminated in a prolonged interruption of services.” The fault was traced to an external connection issue which was causing problems with connecting to the database.
To avoid any more players being affected by the disturbances Cake Poker has taken the action to shut down the network until further notice.
A number of sites rely on Cake Poker’s network include sportsbook.com and BetUS as the problem is ongoing it could cause a serious impact to the network as players go elsewhere for their poker.
