NFL Star Michael Vick Back in Action
Disgraced American Football player Michael Vick could make a shock early return to action by the end of September.
The 29-year-old Philadelphia Eagles player, once one of the NFL’s most promising recruits, will be allowed back in the 3rd week of the new season, and hopefully will be able to put the sorry episode behind him which saw Vick jailed for 23 months for bankrolling a dog fighting ring.
Vick’s first game back will come in the Eagles’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs on 27th September, although he played a pre-season game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a friendly that the Eagles won 33-32. Vick signed a contract for two years with Philadelphia after being dropped by the Atlanta Falcons back in June.
A group of Philadelphia fans made their position clear about Vick’s arrival, stating that they would cease supporting the team.
