Michael Vick moves to Philadelphia Eagles
Quarterback Michael Vick has today been signed to the Philadelphia Eagles on a two-year contract.
Vick has just returned from a 23 month jail term for his part in an illegal dog fighting – he used to be the NFLs highest paid player and now wants to get himself back on track.
However, his return to the NFL may not be as instant as he would have hoped an agreement was made with the league that he would be phased back into action and will probably not play until late October.
DeSean Jackson gave Vick a boost and had the following to say about Vick “He's a great player. He has a lot to prove to everybody. We've got some things on that offence now. We're just going to support him and hopefully he can come into our team and make some things happen.”
