Full Tilt Poker Kicks Off FTOPS XIII
While the live poker circuit is in a period of relative calm before the storm of WSOPE and EPT events hit London, England, action online has been heating up with the start of the latest Full Tilt Online Poker Series.
The new thirteenth series kicked off yesterday evening with a $200 + $16 no limit hold’em tournament hosted by two time WSOP bracelet winner Vitaly Lunkin and a total of 25 events will be played over the next two weeks, with Full Tilt guaranteeing over $14 million in prizes will be given away.
A new addition to the series will be the introduction of the Ante Up For Africa event hosted by Academy Award-nominated actor Don Cheadle. The charity tournament will feature a $100 buy-in plus a $20 entry fee, which Full Tilt will donate to aiding the humanitarian efforts in crisis-torn Darfur.
Further incentives to play in FTOPS XIII come from the fact that every player who makes a final table during the series will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket and – should they go one better and win the event – a coveted gold FTOPS jersey and gold jersey avatar which they can proudly display on the site.
The player who tops the FTOPS leaderboard come the end of the series will also receive a custom Full Tilt avatar designed in their likeness and a special FTOPS XIV package worth some $7,500, which will cover buy-ins to all but one – the two-day high roller event – of next year’s tournaments.
