FULL TILT GOING FOR WORLD RECORD
If you’re looking for a big juicy multi-table tournament to occupy your Sunday evening this weekend, head over to Full Tilt Poker.
The online giant is celebrating five years as one of the biggest online poker sites, and to mark the event, they’re attempting to break the World Record for the largest online poker tournament ever played.
Full Tilt’s attempt at making poker history is set for this Sunday, July 19th at 20:05 BST with an entry fee of just $5, or 1,000 Full Tilt points. Naturally, online qualifiers are available too. With a $250,000 GTD pool matched by Full Tilt for a further $250,000, anything below the 50,000 field Tilt hope to attract will offer up some decent overlay.
Full Tilt has a special online page with more information on this Sunday’s event, which can be found at www.fulltiltpoker.com/five/the-record-breaker. If Full Tilt are successful and head into the pages of the Guinness Book of Records, they will shatter the existing tournament field record, currently held by rivals PokerStars (who else?) who held a tournament seating 35,000 players.
