Malaysian Government considering ban of online casinos
Malaysian Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein is attempting to take his fight to ban online casinos and gambling to the world.
Within the country, police have stepped up on conducting raids on any possible illegal gambling and have so far chalked off 2,600 arrests from 2,900 raids.
It would seem that when online gambling is regulated that is when organised crime within the industry is at its lowest – but if the gambling industry, especially in Malaysia, was to be pushed underground it would allow organised crime and mobsters the chance to take over.
Fortunately for the rest of the world who enjoy online gambling, Hishammuddin has been having problems finding any allies who will support his attempted wipe out of online casinos.
