Orlando Magic close the gap on the LA Lakers in game 3 of the NBA Finals
The Orlando Magic managed to close the gap between them and the LA Lakers, with a 108–104 win in game 3 of the NBA finals. The homecourt victory with Dwight Howard scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds means that Magic now trails the Lakers 2-1 in the best of seven games in the NBA finals.
Kobe Bryant of the Lakers, was at his best with the game high of 31 points and 21 rebounds, just in the first half. The Orlando Magic led by 5 points at halftime and the by 14 at the end of the third quarter, but the Lakers chipped away at the lead and with only 22 seconds left on the clock Bryant tried with a 3 point shot which would have left the Magic’s with a 1 point lead, but then the ball hit the rim and then the Orlando fans could all breathe easy.
