Jeffery Lisandro Bags 2nd Bracelet at WSOP in Las Vegas
The prize money may have been small potatoes, but the prestige certainly wasn’t as Australian pro Jeffrey Lisandro took down Event 16 at the World Series of Poker, the $1,500 Seven Card Stud, for $124,959.
359 players anted up for this event, with some notable cashes, including Jason Mercier, who’s on the heater of all heaters, Thor Hansen, and Fabrice Soulier.
Lisandro won his first bracelet two years ago in the same discipline when he overcame a final table that included Daniel Negreanu and Howard Lederer. This year was a slightly smoother ride, playing an almost invincible game till the end.
